    KB Organised Fundraising Rides?

An idea I have is to organise a day, call it what you like, but something along the lines of "Inline4 KB Ride"

Each area orgarnises a ride on the same day and the same time, this then coincides around the country.
(EG Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Auckland etc all meet on the ?? November at 1.00pm)
Each rider pays $5 to ride and all proceeds go to the IL4 fund

    Just an idea

I think that is a great idea. First thing that would probably help would be to organise atleast 1 person from each area who can help people in their own area... wether it be posting flyers in bike stores or whatever. If you spread the word out side KB, aswell as in it, I think alot of bikers would want to come and help Inline.

    Just my thoughts though

Pasted from Donna on other thread

    another update on inline four

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is so comforting to go online and read all your thoughts. John is still being kept under sedation following his op so that his body has a chance to heal - whenever they start to wake him up, he is in too much pain so they sedate him again. He is still in ICU and no word yet as to when he will get moved to the Trauma Unit or to Burwood but I will update as often as I can - God bless you all Donna

    Bike recovered

Picked the offending bike up & returned it to Donna this morning showing minimal damage (small dent in chamber & cracked number plate). It didn't have a guilt complex at all and even fired up first kick so it's now pushed into the corner. Naughty Bike!

    Got it, cheers mate

For all those who wanted the details. I have updated the first post with it and it is also scattered a couple of times in the other thread. It would be great if we could keep it going to help John and Donna out.

    Cool

Is someone still printing off this thread and the other one for John to have and to read when he is able to?

Has anyone down there in Chch been to see John recently and can give us a update. I know that Donna is flying down when she can.... and giving us a update. But what about other KBers down there?
