The only problem with The Wild Oat is that it's on SH2. A boring straight ride from Featherston, cluttered with Wellington motorists and the interminable 50kmh zones of Greytown and Carterton.
Anyway, irrespective of whether they shout or not, Mrs H and I will be doing our best to boost the patronage of the Fush in the few weeks before it is no more. Just our way of saying "thanks" to the lovely ladies who have taken great care of us over the years.
