Cool, I'm limited on gearing so not sure if I will be ok, wonder what top speed I would expect to pull, I have an enormous 51 on the back.

having said that is the short new part only, but I've never seen it.

I dunno, would a RG150 get to 140kph? in that new area (being that I will be on less powerful bike but lighter, actually bike & rider combo about the same I guess. . . sigh).
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

dave --the "small" track is still pretty darn good --in my opinion it keeps all the best bits of the track.

Cor blimey, i didnt see buckets on the entry form, you mean we have to sit around waiting for them to complete what 6 whole laps? Think im gonna take a book, heh heh

But seriously is anyone else going? seems like the posts here are dominated by the bucket/125 peeps. I entered my standard, old, beat up and worn out 1994 cbr600 in clubmans. I know theres at least one vfr400 going to be in clubmans but im hoping for some other 600`s or bigger for a challange. This will be my last clubmans race ever. After this i have to either go f2 and get my arse handed to me, or get a compeditive bike and go f2 with a vengence, or turn my old cbr back into a road bike and settle down, but i cant see that last one happening.

Just thought id point out, there does appear to be a $10 entry fee for spectators on the sunday, who turn up after.. 8:30am i think it said. And i do hope they have a place for camping, because the pit area and parking lot is all tar seal, not the best place to set up a tent. Also people that didnt pre enter dont qualify for the spot prizes according the entry form.

still nearly 7 days away and im getting nervous already. Merry racing and a happy new racing year to every one!

    Power

Does anyone know if there is any power available at the track for tyre warmers, compressors etc?
    Cheers

    What Skunk said.

You won't have to wait till "after" to have your arse handed to you. F5 has the option of riding my bucket. That should sort out the "arse-handing" business on the day.

And the buckets will still probably kick your arse

The new short track is a good fast bucket track, even better than Ruapuna B track

No idea but I wouldn't plan on it. Take your own generator if you can.

    D'oh!

I had my first crash on the 125 today.

I was going for the mad dash trying to set a shit hot lap.... pinned under the fairings trying to get each little last amount of speed down the straights...

Man it was awesome.... Ringing the neck outta this thing....

I was trying really really hard to get my knee down (wank wank) but couldnt do it.....

On the final lap, last turn, i did the biggest attempt to get my knee down. OMG i did it.... damn im cool.... then all of a sudden the bike just fell out from under me.... Whoosh..gone.. on my arse..

Damaged the tail fairing and generally fucked me off..

That'll teach me for racing on the paddoc stand
