    Smile Life!

Man ive had some huuge ups and downs over the last 2 weeks. Ive had day's when I couldnt get outta bed and days when ive been bouncing off the walls! Ive had so much on my plate there were times I just wanted to hide away from everyone. But Ive just had some great news today that I just had to share....

I HAVE JUST BEEN OFFERED A NEW JOB!!!! Its basically a promotion within the MOJ and it comes with more money! Ive been pretty stressed out waiting to hear for the last two weeks but its all been worth it. My new boss wanted me to start Monday but seeing as im going up to Auckland to pick up my new bike I will be starting on Weds....
I cant quite believe that my last day in my current position is tomorrow after just over 4 years of working with the same people!

I find it interesting that along with excitement there is alot of fear... Im nervous about riding back form Auckland on a bike I have never ridden before and im nervous as hell about starting a job that is going to be hard. But for the last year ive just kind of been cruising happily along and I knew it was time for a challenge. I just didnt know it was all going to happen at once!

On Sunday I sit my Full Licence test then on Monday I fly to Auckland and pick up my new bike. Then the day after that I start a new job. Wow, I think I need a beer!

Awesome Str8. In times of stress I kinda think 'whats the worst thing that could happen? ...is it really that bad? ...and whats really the likelyhood of it happening?".

I hope you have a good 'next 7 days'.

Its always wierd how everything happens at once huh.. thats when you just need to go with it, and when you look again you will have a full license, a new bike and be doing a new job.

Congrats btw, its always good to see people move forward.
