Nah - it's a great potential analogy -

Shots rang out, as shots are wont to do.
The plan was simple, like my brother-in-law Phil. But unlike Phil, this plan just might work.
Hiya all,
just got home from big boys toys!
FANTASTIC! ...phone went flat so couldnt take any pics![]()

some nice bikes there too![]()
good spread this year, even struck a deal with the chick on the kawasaki stand on the 07' ZZR..so hopefully that goes through

saw a fellow KB'er on the triumph stand, cant remeber his name though (was on last thursdays ride out west).
well worth the visit, even if your misses insists on coming - send her off to the chicks section upstairs for a free pampering so you can go perv at the gorgus women!!! hahah!!

You're not referring to Big Dave, by chance? Caught up with him there and he's as much a character in real life as he is here!
Took my wife as well as my youngest daughter and her husband, had a good time. My wife even pointed out a particularly scantily clad young girl who naturally had many young males ogling her from a close range!
Advantage in having her there was being able to show her several different styles of bike and letting her choose which she wants. Saw the new '07 Virago 250 in the new "Black Cherry" which she loved, but when I asked the guy about show specials he mentioned he had two black '06's he wanted to shift at a $500 discount. You wouldn't guess my wife is 50% Scot, but she immediately said, "I quite like black..." He even offered to deliver from Hamilton as he was living up this way until recently, so's my wife could practice here before obtaining her learners.
Overall, though we were a bit disappointed this year as it wasn't as good as last year in our opinion, though the bikes that were there were well displayed. Kudos for the dealers' efforts!

Spent the day there today. Damn great day... I'll post pictures in the next couple of days, once I get the camera back off my mate. Oh it was a good day. In my opinion don't shave before you go up. Nothing like a fine perky short skirt shaving your face... Still not know what I'm talking about, go to the King of Shaves stand, you'll thank me.![]()
Have Fun... or don't do it!!!

Cheers mr (& mrs) bear - nice to make your aquital too.
today was my only day thar.
And yep - was nice show.
Very busy all day - passed the time talking about some beautiful Triumph motorcycles with numerous KB, RAT, KR, HOG, TOMCC, and 'what's a motocycle' type folk.
Very easy bikes to represent. Black Speed Triple - Scwhing, Rocket III Classic - Scwhing, Scrambler - Scwhing*, Sprint ST - Scwhing, 675 - Scwhing - with that many schwings you'd think it would be 'hard' - very easy.
Harley display is beautiful.
Other highlights for me:
Talking to Bob.
5 minutes into the chat he says 'And I'm a big Aaron Slight fan.'
'Step over here Bob' says I.
Virtually having to drag a sheepish Bob 10 meters later:
'Aaron, Bob, - Bob, Aaron.' and retreated to my chair on the Rocket 3.
Young Punk Rocker asks me:
'What's the 0 to 100 on the Rocket 3?'
'Mate, it does nought to one hundred in get fucked!.'
'Coooool.'
Beaut day.

Whats that star?, its the deathstar, what does it do?, it does death!
I was on stand 643 with one of my boats, by far the best at the show![]()
Wasnt too impressed with the bikes seeing as its the new zealand motorcycle show, there just didnt seem to be anything happening..
But i pretty much got sold on the 07 cbr 600, ill just have to see if i can get one at wholesale price
And the chicks... nice... anyone see the durex girls handing it condoms? i got handed one, i refused it and asked if they did a bigger size, they all giggled like lil school girls![]()
had a chat with Big Dave whilst drooling over the speed triple ...
good lord, that is one sexy bike ....
BD sold me my current bike with his article on the hornet 900, I think he may have just sold me my next bike too
Nice to meet you officially BD.
Was good to have a feel around the buell's too, and I was honestly surprise at how comfy the hayabusa felt.
Likewise BD. Darn it, I missed seeing Aaron this year. Saw him last year, though, he must have been on a break or somethin'.
Not sure I liked the green on the Scrambler on display, the red and white is really cool and I've got your pic of it as my desktop now. I'd love one, but as above, I need to work out how to get the Missus that Virago first.
Might check out the Hyosung too, as our boarder has one and it looks good in two-tone dark red, but may be a bit heavier than the Yamaha. He says she can have a ride on it so might do that first.
