Reverse engineering of noise-cancelling headphones is tricky. The principles are pretty straightforward. It's the little acoustic details that make it difficult, and make the difference between 'crap' and 'awesome'. You gotta know what you're doing.

Bose have always been a marketing-driven company, you know, with that nonsense about small speaker arrays instead of big drivers.

"No highs, no lows? Must be Bose..."

Their latest noise-cancelling headphone, the QC3, measures with pretty good performance, right up until you push on the earcups and it starts squealing like a little piggy. That's called 'pumping in too much gain and getting an unstable feedback loop', and it means they suck goats.

    ((interesting choice of words))

(reply).... "Porn Star, Large, Medium, Caucasian."

The show was okay by the way... more techo and big toys exhibits would have been good. The bike show was well set out.

Interesting point - 'dad' is the one with the disposable and they all pitched with models 15 years under my radar.

Here are a couple of shots I took of people doing insane stuff, way too many metres above solid ground.

more Chris... he had a lot of fun in the last show on sunday, destroying a rear tyre... funnily enough, being soo close to the action... well... eating tyre literally ain't that fun... and being so swamped in smoke that you can't take a shot... well... gotta say, it actually got boring

Some booth babe shots as well, and I will formally apologise to KB'ers for blurring the one lovely lady.... musta enabled macros accidentally

I'll just sneak in a shot of a britten, which a mate and I crossed paths with totally by chance...
