Awesome, that guy has got serious natural talent. He's only got himself to blame for what happened in the past, hopefully he's wised up.

Hmmmm, OK, thought MV might've been serious about going racing....guess not.
Has Neal Hodgson got a ride yet?
What happened with Gobert's ride in the Spanish series on the Coronas ride?

You just taking the piss, Shaun?
As much as I'd love to see him back, he probably isn't going to be, is he?
You could always say 'such talent wasted', but was it really? Gobert was as fast as any of the stars, he just burned himself out early (and burned his bridges) living his life as he wanted, and provided us with a few sublime moments along the way, for which we must be grateful, I think.
    Cheers

No mate, but I did make a mistake with this post, I had been told he was going to be riding for Fast by Ferrachi on the MV, but obviously some thing went a miss there

    Pity, eh?
I just wonder how Ferraci came up with his riders? Presumably money again, or you would think he'd have offered Hodgson or even Xaus a ride. Maybe not Xaus, he could prove expensive in the carbon department!
Luca Scassa and Matt Lynn are unlikely names, especially as they'll need to be development riders as well as racers and they're both pretty young.
Still it's good to see a new bike in the AMA series, even tho' Ducati have gone (for the next year anyway).
    Cheers

Well, Gobert is back on a racebike, but it aint an MV........
Good luck to him, but seems to me, hes going to be at a disadvantage on that bike, no one seems to have got much out of it so far.

Yeah, it's sorta back where he started!!!

I agree that it's his life and he can stuff it up any way he likes. And he has. But it is a crying shame to see talent like that go down the drain. As we miss out too.

We all know that wet tracks are a great leveller - where talent is the decider. Who will forget his ride at PI on the Bimota!!

Talented yes....a freak of nature on a bike even....but a total asshole.
How many bridges can you burn before they (the factories and various sponsors) decide to help someone more deserving...?
