Yeah but who would they believe? the Police doing their job or someone convicted of 'being prepared to kill someone' & probably eats babies?

I dunno about you but I’m not sure I could finish a whole one.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Not sure if this is an urban (rural?) myth but the story went that several people had been done this way.
I hadn't heard that but 2 weekends ago a black late model falcon was right up my tail thru Kaitoke, I put a few slow cars between us before I put some speed on just incase he was a mufti. Later at the summit he drives past and it's mum/dad & 2 kids, mum looked over and smirked at me for some reason.

About 20 minutes later same car passes me just out of Featherson (heading to Martinbrough), 5 minutes later he's doing close to 200 and nearly slams into a car that was waiting to turn into a driveway. Despite nearly wiping out the family, he then continues on at 130-140 the rest of the way !?!

My Wife's family is from over there, and her Brother is friendly with a number of local cops. Having met some of them at family functions, and talked (politely) at length about everything but police work, I am convinced that all Wairarapa cops may well be faintly dodgy in their approach to life, but it could be a symptom of some of the things they see and deal with over there.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Funny about the cops - we went down the west side of the lake, up to Martinborough, through the back way to Carterton and down SH2 and didn't see any cops at all! Let's just hope that's because they weren't there rather than I just didn't see them. Not that there would be many cops down the side of the lake. If anyone hasn't been there - it's a nice bit of road (the west side).
it is a nice bit of road but I got caught out one day on a bridge* which was ankle deep in cowshit and slippery as hell. Talked to a cop about it and apparently many of the locals have complained but the farmer, y'know, just doesn't care.
(*biggish concrete one with what looks like floodgates built in)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
