nice clip,that is what makes the internet great.
funny the comparison between then and now, it will be interesting seeing a similar clip in 50 years time (back when bikes still had wheels and didn't hover)

Monza '68. Ago & Hailwood. Mike's throttle assembly comes off the clipon in a right-hander and hits the track. Somehow Mike keeps upright, gets it back on the bar, overtakes Ago.... new lap record & wins in record speed. Supermen on Two wheels !![]()
