Well, in the spirit of 250 rides, I perambulated my way down to the Autobahn - and replicated the ride that Dover organises on South Auckland Thursday nights...
However, I didn't take the usual turn to go left at one point and went over to Tuakau - then I kept going because my bike didn't want to turn around so I pootled on through the back country twisties to ... Ngaruawahia! Filled up at BP and since I was so close to Hamilton - I decided to go via Raglan, now if only I could strap a surfboard to my bike!Blatted back to the 'Tron and then beetled back up to Dorkland (just got in!

I guess I need to cut out some of those diversions when I get promoted to Squadron Leader one day!Will have to get up early tomorrow and wash and lube and polish my ride... so it will be ready for the bikini wash!

What sort of length of ride you planning Jim? Just I still have a hole in my jaw and don't think I could last one of our usual rides in terms of length.
