    Race tyre bead-breaker

    Anyone know where i can get hold of a good portable manual bead breaker for my race tyres. Or any good web sites that i can search on. Want easy to opperate type. Cheers

    I made one (actually copied another one) - works like a big set of pliers. I can send you a photo if you want.

    OK, I have rung practically every biek shop in NZ one this one, and the only two places making them (eurobike used to bring them in but doesn't any more) are cycletorque (in hamilton) and F1 engineering. Call steve at f1 engineering, and see if he has them ready yet. His are the two handled (easy to use) type, the cycle torque ones are 1 lever and a bit harder to use, but still very effective.
    Both sell for under $100.00
