I was art directing a publishing house during its demise in the dotcom meltdown.
They hired an Assistant publisher to try and repair some bridges as it started to sink.
Nice girl I thought, quite attractive, from Griffith in NSW, she liked my biker act and we chatted.
Turns out she was in NZ because of a South African boyfriend in Auckland – who she just caught cheating on her .
For payback she borrowed the business paper’s digi cam – (this is back when they were rare) – then pulled some bloke in Vulcan Lane and took hard core pictures of herself in various Paris Hilton type exploits. BJ, Finger on the love button and all.
How do I know? She came in to the office before anyone got there the following morning and downloaded them onto my computer, emailed them to the boyfriend who jilted her, left them on my desktop ‘as a gift’, grabbed her stuff, and was never seen again.
Made the reporter’s day I tell ya!
