    Breaking news!!!

In a face to face with the dealer today we found out that 90% of the parts are in NZ (with luck it shoudn't take more than three months to put back together) Nah, hope springs eternal that we are now on the right track.
Why they decided to put me through trauma the last few days is beyond me.

All this is a bit of a bugger as I was hoping to force a good deal on a Grisso and let them keep the Ballabio.

Saw some the cam and the pump today, the cam is pitted and worn, the oil pump didn't look to bad the strange thing was the attutude of the Mechanic, he was most defensive and not keen for me to look at the parts of MY BIKE??
Not sure if the know what the cause was I suspect cam rather than pump.
I've gone over to the dark side, No Luke I'm not your effing father

Whats the shop you are dealing with MM?
sounds like the mechanic is learning about MG as he goes and is a bit imbrased, Id say YES to the cam it fits in with the faulty batch... does the mechanic know about this problem?

I sorry to hear what happened to your bike, a bit weird what happened.
And a bit weird the attitude of the Mechanic as well.
I hope you get back on the road soon.

I just read this about the new V8 motor, From Pete Roper.

Don't blow it up boys! Note the bit on the website that says 'New, Integral main bearings? You, looking at the cutaway if you torch the front main you have to replace the case!

There is also talk of twin oil pumps. One for cooling and one for lubrication. Can't see it for sure but it certainly looks like an OPRV on the bottom left of the case adjacent to the pump. Right next to where the cooler sits on the 'G'. Hmmmmm.

    Pete

Hey "snamel" Sorry to say that would be sinful treatment of a grizz!!!!!

Throw a cart onto an old classic bike , and yea I would do that.... always thought if me wife gave me the, or I gave her the BOOT, then I would deff have to invest in a side carbike, that way I cuould still semi enjoy the rally scene.

But I think she is gonna continue to hang around and leech for a long time yet... not that I mind anyways.. she's a gurd chick. !!!!!

That has to be sacriledge putting a sidecar to a beauty like a Griso !!!

The only thing worse than that would be putting one to a V11.
Now, please don't tell me you have a photo of that too........

I just wanted to make sure no-one in their right mind would do that.
    But I was wrong.
