Well thats what happens with grand economic experiments , Even the CIAworld fact book says that NZis a nice country but economic mucking about created a large havenot class.....Couple that ( iMHO) with Lax parenting ...and you end up with

Gated Comunities ,,,Yeah!! nice safe secluded places where I can relax , and unwind without worrying that the savages will nick me bike.. then I can drive to work and relax in the companies entertainment facilities

but we would need to have another Tax to pay for that ....already we have

speeding tax
Education tax ( student loan/school fees )
medical tax ( ever been to the doctor lately)
oh and Tax Tax ..as in 33% BEFORE you pay any of the above

and if you have anything left , then you can pay

morgage/rent
Electricity ( or donate to the bonus of the CEO ~possibly cheaper )
Council Tax ..( if you are morgaged ~ )
