Richard Leong Racing Teams Up With Pirelli To Contest The Nationals!

It is my absolute pleasure to announce that Team Richard Leong Racing have signed a deal to be supplied with Pirelli racing slicks.
We will be contesting all 5 rounds of the 2007 New Zealand Production Superbike championship starting this coming January at Teratonga race Track, Invercargill.

As just about any superbike team will tell you, tyres is one of the hardest components to get sorted.
Both Richard and I are delighted to have secured a deal to run Pirellis.
Privateer Russel Holland proved they can win races at the highest level in Australia, and indeed team Honda Australia have themselves signed up to use Pirelli next year along with other large Australian teams.

We are still working on sponsorship deals with other suppliers of racing consumables and will make further announcements in this thread as news comes to hand.

So it will be good bye to the bikes instability issues with the current tyres we have and hello competitive race rubber!

Here is a few pics (thanks Felix) of the bike as it stands now. We just fitted the Akrapovic full race exhaust system to the bike two weeks ago

    Sugilite out!

"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Well you'll have no excuses for not doing so here then!
And for Christs sake man....fit a dark visor so we don't have to see the stress in your face.

Great to hear man, how's your progress coming along on the ZX10R? You gaining confidence and speed on the new bike yet?

So it sounds like Supercorsa Pro's are perfectly good?
