The council in Manchester installed some retractable bollards to stop people using bus lanes. It’s causing a bit of uproar with the public.

there is a passage way only for buses.
and two posts a metre apart 1 metre or so high, stopping car going through.
when a bus comes along, they go down into the ground.
when the bus has gone over, they come up again.

Cars try to be sneaky and zip through. and they any up crashing into them.
the posts end up coming up about 30 cm before the car hits them, just in behind the bumper!
and the yare then stuck there!!
