    On the side note, is there some sort of local law banning the sales of scent-free deodorants? I am allergic to smell of perfumes and cannot stand those spray-ons and roll-ons (a condition I wouldn't wish to worst enemy in Auckland climate). Currently I am living off my stash of "scent-free-secret-platinum" sticks that I smuggled from the US and I am too horrified to think what will I do when I'll use them up...

    If they're lubricated - then how can you hear them?

    I said to him this morning;
    "It's been hot lately hasn't it?" He thought he'd finally cracked the big time and proceeded to tell me all about EL nino weather patterns and how it will be fine from here on into the new year....etc *blah* *blah* *blah* I was getting sick of waiting for an opening and so I said "You've got pretty bad B.O. I'm trying to tell you nicely. Use deodorant - alot." and left it at that. He hasn't spoken to me since (which is a good thing) I'm waiting for the boss to call me into his orifice for *another* dressing down...

    Onya. Nike.
    Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Hmmm...can't be much of a boss then. One worth his position would be aware of the unpleasant situation and have done something about without being approached. Hope you told him to be more proactive. Or asked for a raise for doing his job for him.

    Shucks CP, know where you been - I used to ride as a Security Supervisor for Armoured Trucks delivering cash to banks. Was a fella who stank to high heaven and I had to tell him pointblank that no-one could bear to be around him (in the enclosed space of a hot, armoured vehicle it would've been murder!) He was embarassed, but got the point and "why didn't anybody tell me?" First time I smelt him, I just told him first outright! Never had problems with him again (good ending).

    Sounds like you did the right thing and at least you aren't being bothered by him as much anymore! On ya!

    Another thought is he may be unaware of the difference between deodorant and anti-perspirant.... they are not interchangeable (but you can get some that are both....). If he's using just plain deo, then no amount of spraying is going to stop the BO

    Um yeah well no, actually had a slight difference of opinion with him earlier. I'm sure he made a point of sitting as close to me as could while trying to get me to do some work for him. I asked if he wanted sit on my lap... I stood up and he backed of but wasn't pleased about it and ran off to tell on me as soon as he could...
