    Need 5DV3 jet needle

Okay, the RF's problems been sussed. I've snapped the jet needle in No.1 carb in half. See here for more.

I need to get another one, or even 4 new ones.

Apparently they are available ex Japan, but I don't really want to wait that long.

Does anyone know where I can get them in NZ?

Geee... lots of great ideas - not.

Looks like its a 10 day wait without the bike.

Ok - what other bikes are these carbs used on? Get the carb model and do some research,it must be used on another similar sized bike.

I have a book here listing all the SU carburettor needles and their dimensions every 1/8'' of their length - 28 needles per page and 24 pages thick, that's 672 needles to choose from.I've tried to tune Mikuni carbs with needle changes,it's pity they don't have such a good system.

    No worries Motu.

I've ordered 4 new ones through WMCC. They'll take 10 working days to get here from Japan, but at least I'll have a full set of new ones.
