    So how does it sound?

Does the Stebel sound like a loud motorbike horn or is it lower in pitch more like a car horn? I had FIAMMs on the Hornet and they were very loud but still sounded like a motorbike...

As much as I'd like to sound like a Mack truck, I realise you need a set of horns off a Mack to do that (and a bloody great compressor?).

I can kinda only use mine for 1 honk every few minutes, as straight afterwards the battery doesnt have enough juice to honk again...

A coupla piccies for Stebel pr0n addicts

Righto chaps, finally got around to processing the old photos from the digital thingummy!

Very easy to install, I just checked the clearance for the Stebel to the mudguard (plenty o'room) and made up a bracket that fitted on the old little horn hole. Stuck some cable ties for added security and a little double sided tape in case it bounces up and scratches my lighties!

Just used the old 'lectrical attachments and slotted them onto Stebel ... voila! A thing of beauty ... I made the mistake first up and put them on back to front and ended up with a whirring noise

Corrected and gah! I was standing in front when I parped the horn! Very loud at that range

So I kicked up the engine and parped away to my hearts content ... trying to do "I'm a little teapot..."

    Job's a good'un

Thanks to WarlockNZ and his dodgy international way of doing business, Supercheat for odds n'sods and my inane passion to blinging out my bike!

Ditto that, had reason to use the GBs horn in anger at the weekend and I needn't have bothered, can hardly hear it on the bike let alone inside a cage (no doubt with Celine Dion screeming her head off on the stereo), so if anyone is organising another order count me in.

The Stebel Magnum suites the GB better than the Nautilus.

A few questions, this is after all a fairly typical airhorn experience.
Did you run the supplied relay or are you running it hot?
Are you sure your battery is not knackered?
Is there a voltage change when you accelerate?

Mine scares the natives quite well.
I had mine fitted while they had the panels off for the 30,000 km service.
They did a great job, its tucked away in a cavity.
The head light does not even dim when the engine is running.

Definitely much louder with the engine under load.

Under motion I had someone tell me it sounds like an approaching freight train if depressed for the 2-3 seconds a train goes for.
Exactly what I was hoping for (a greater percieved threat.)

I might take one off your hands if you have any spare. Let me know if you do after the dust has settled.

Likewise, I am very keen if there are spares and if there is another order in the future.

Fitted both today. It fitted just fine under the fairing against the fairing support bracket. It was a piece of wee's to connect using the relay. The cage was even easier to do.
    I'ma goin' huntin' tomorra.

All the horns are prepaid, sorry about that ... if there is enough interest, I'll place another order.
