Blood Donor Run (2 December)

Hey all you Manawatu guys and gals.
Don't know if you have seen it already, or planning to go... but there is a Blood Donor Run organised for Saturday 2 December. Aaron Slight and McNeil Ritchie are part of the event.
I am planning to join the rest at The Square, in Palmerston North at about 8am that morning. Aaron is to lead the pack out about 9am, where we head to Ashhurst, through Feilding, and back to the Palmerston North Hospital around 10 so those who wish to or can will donate their blood.
This is a good chance for all those that are in the area that maybe don't have time during the normal working week, that wish to, can donate and give back something to the cause.
There is going to be heaps of spot prizes donated from clubs, and businesses from around the area so if you feel like it come on along.

The more the merryier...

Yep, I'll be there, and I will bring a few mates too hopefully.
If they don't come, no hassle, all the more chance of getting a spot prize.

What's happening with this - the labs are on strike so we are assuming the run is cancelled - anyone know yet?

Even if the lab does go on strike, then we can still turn up with our 10 slides for the chopper, I'm picking.

Will be a shame to go on strike, of all days

But there you go....

I'm actually looking forward to it, and will even let them put a sharp device in my arm for a bit (Don't mention that N word and I'll be fine), for the cause.

So here is a bump, and I guess we will find out for sure soon???

I still have no idea - I emailed Busted earlier today but he hasn't responded. Your guess is as good as mine. Got to be at Linton for a fundraiser there so I probably won't be there.

I'm surprised you didn't see the tall guy with the KB patch on him arm... LOL. i was down for my grandmother 80th, so my father and I went on the run ... i got a badge as well .. LOL .. i'll add it to the rest

Yep, I think I will start a blanket or something. My Brass Monkey beanie is starting to fill up.
