Hay y'all compu-dudes. I'm a cheap bastard and I don't want to pay lots for getting this computer that I got set-up (read as "will pay in beer"). I have got a P4 1.6 from work for free (yes it's old - I'm cheap ok?) It's had an eraser programme run on it so I need to load up a new OS and stuff. I've got windows XP Professional SP1 (?) and a couple of games to load but when I try and get it to load from the XP disk it says;
"INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 4096. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to continue."
Anyone out there wanna come here or summit and sort this shit out for me? I've got just enough knowledge to be truly dangerous, but in this case I'd prefer to have a system that works...

And... I have this message keeps coming up on the PC that I'm using now (see attached .pps) This PC is being given to a friend who needs it and I'd like to give it to her... going... properly
