Got my Loser plates on the weekend, got bike, got gear... just wondering why I didn't do this 10years ago.

Having such an awesome time, never expected to be having so much fun...

Welcome, tide. Did you know there is an Auckland Thursday Night Ride (ATNR) that ends at the Speights pub in Albany? You should bop along there one Thursday soon and meet some of the crew.

I've also just qualified for the big L and got myself a bike, so I know that excited feeling!

Keep on posting and soon you will be a 'Fair Weather Rider' and then 'Weekend cruiser'........ then 'highway biker' and then 'hardcore biker' and eventually you will get the big title of......

Find yourself a rider training course up there.. & DO IT!!!

Go with an open mind, soak up the info & it will make your experience on 2 wheels all that more enjoyable.. & safer!!

Glad to see you've booked in to the 250 ride on Sunday - could be worthwhile meeting up with some of the other riders from the shore and riding across the bridge together.
