WTB: 250cc upto $3k

Selling the misses bike, and require a 250cc as a replacement so thought I'd get the ball rolling. Anything considered (except GN250 style bikes

Mate is selling a 1988 GPX if you are interested. he wants about 2.9/3k for it. give him a bell on 021 136 7234.

Anyway my GN was on Trademe for 12 hours before had a cash offer this morning, should be sold on Sunday. And people knock the GN

Nah, its more to do with she doesn't like that style of bike, she wants a tourer or sporty bike. She's not a cruiser. I personally think they are great bikes for what they are.

hmm, might be a bit to much for an '88 GPX, there's one at a dealer for $3k in pretty good nick.

mmmmm, I'd love to get her that ZXR-C, my first bike...damn did I love that thing. She reckons she doesn't want a bike that sporty...but I reckon I could change her mind if I turned up with it

yeah I figure that, but still...I'll be keeping an eye on it, seen some cheap bikes recently (even a C model ZXR go for less then $3k, was a little rougher then that tho).

yeah I have no money so I spend my time looking for bikes on TradeMe. Strange. What about a RGV for $1800? Too sporty I guess?

RGV150? Trying to sell her RG150 at the moment, unless you mean a RGV250...but I think she'd kill herself on one!!

Oops yeah meant an RGV250 - 'only running at about 60%' he says, probably needs a rebuild or a large bundle of cash thrown at it indiscriminatley. Powervalves, I'd say.

How much are you selling the RG150 for?

How much are you selling the RG150 for?

Wouldn't mind $1500. Its a 2001 model, ad is on here somewhere.
