Too bloody many. I've been doing this for 22 years, starting out as a typographer/designer at Government Print in 1984.

Now I lead a team of mac operators.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Yep since 1985!! Just started using Indesign but prefer Quark as that is what I used in the UK - infact everyone uses Quark in the UK. Started off on CS10 board and Rotring pens doing 'proper' artwork

Hey Dave, since when has KB become just a dirt bike mag? Needs a road bike on the cover as well

Talk to the publisher - I've wanted the harley for the last two. I'm on it!

In his defence - the 6 day is the biggest event in 2 wheeled sport in NZ in the last month?

And we do cover everything. It's a foot thick lately.

To be honest I’ve been getting a little bored of the Mag lately (no offence, don’t know why, maybe too many in a row)

but that ISDE picture makes me want to get out in the bush, that is a great pic, I’d buy that copy if I wasn’t already subscribed. I think the MX one is in the way, crop it all, esp the elderly woman in the sumo suit.

Dunno, maybe I’m in that stage of life. Been starting to buy Motorcycle Mechanics. Always read PB (but that was piffle for years, became a habit though) But I guess a lot of NZ bikers are aging & minds start to wander back to the days of RZ350s or whatever.

The race reports bore me, but there is obviously a need & desire for a local input & the mag is not aimed just for me.

Maybe there are not many technical features. How this works, how to mod that. Has to be on a decent level. Robert Taylor had a couple of articles a way back I vaguely remember, thought were ok.

Got a bit interested in the GasGas 200 long termer as I have one, but that was so slack as it seemed he never rode the thing, or at least never tested any mods.
