Wellington anniversary sounds great. Alice post the times and date and where. I am keen as well for an overnighter. It can't be on the weekend of the 7s because i will be a bit tiddled at the stadium!

MrsK - i always wave at people in fact, to make it more fun for myself i salute*L* and Lissa and i were just talking about it and i knew where we saw you because i remember seeing you two riding quite close together - the other bikes we had been seeing in pairs were more apart. Just an observation.

Wellington Anniversary weekend there is a motorcyclist gathering at Herbertville all staying in the motorcamp for the weekend, takeaway meals available at the pub which is over the road. Last time we were there, there was also a cafe. Porangahau is just down the road & their pub does great meals. Everyone is welcome as the back half of the campground is already booked out. If anyone wants to know more they can PM me via Pickle.

    Cheers Viv

I remember Waving - honest!!! Usually if I cant wave cause I am too scared to lift my hands I nod... but honestly I remember the two bikes travelling 'snuggly" together and I waved! Darn wish I knew it was you guys! Would have made you stop.

If you two ride hand-in-hand, which one has the throttle hand?

We know who has the throttle-hand in THAT relationship!

I'm interested to know how you would have got us to stop!
I remember you both waving, it was his blindship who reckoned you didn't wave. Oh, and we really weren't traveling that close, believe me, a lot of people travel crap loads closer than that!! We ride together a lot, so we have got quite good at knowing what the other does.

Speaking of people riding closely together, I went riding a few weekends ago with a couple, they have been riding together for 20 odd years, we rode many kms of backcountry roads around the Bay and they where amazing to watch, she was about 1 bike length and just to the right of he the whole ride, the space did not alter at all and watching them reminded me of a couple of birds doing some type of courtship dance with the two of them bobbing up and down the road and leaning into corners with a millisecond delay between them. Awesome to watch.

Would have made the "stop" signal which consists of sticking my foot out and waving both arms in the air as I lose control of my bike and crash in the ditch... just remember it next time

You don't have to go that extreme just to keep me company, Lissa, although I appreciate the sentiment.
We could just do lunch and a gossip again, if you are feeling sorry for me....bring some more ladies with you next time

RE - CASTLEPOINT as a weekender.

Mrs Kendog, I was wondering if you, or anyone else that may read this is interested in organising something along the lines of what I mentioned earlier ?

I am good at coming up with suggestions but cannot really be fagged trying to organise it to much. You seem to be a good organising type, I think yu know more people that may show interest than me, I can let people in this area know about it, including some riders that are not KB members. I don't care what date is chosen, if its going to happen, I am flexible to fit in with whatever others prefer. I wasn't thinking along the lines of anything big, just a laid back weekend.
