    DAY OFF This is one issue they have my full support on (day off that is) bummer its not a week. Its a shame we don't have a day off to celebrate each and ever culture represented in NZ. Oh how the employers would complain.

    No-one keen to join us at Herbertville? everything is already organised just bring a tent & food BBQ's are already supplied, pub over the road & great roads to enjoy. Or just come out for the day as there will be motorcyclists there all weekend, arrange a meeting point and come for a ride Best route is out from Pahiatua, Mangatainoka via Makuri/ Pongaroa, Wimbledon
    If you want to know about roads out from Dannevirke ask Pickle as he was raised in Dannevirke & knows the area very well.

    Oh quick note.... I went up the takas for the first time tonight... thanks ronin and kinje Good idea for my birthday. Although the road was shat... I made it up!!! Yay.

    OMG i am heading up the takas soon just for the hell of it because i am meant to be painting but i got up on the thingy that you stand on with the plank and got scared and a bit shaking at the knees......wimpy i know! and i THINK i was only on the second rung HAHA must be taller ones!

    ANYHOO, if anybody is heading up there - lemme know within the next half hour so i can meet you at the top. i am just gonna do a run up and down this wairarapa side for the hell of it.

    Hi Viv,
    I may be interested in coming down to Herbertville some stage over the weekend, it sound interesting and its a nice ride along the back roads from Napier. I have a few things in the pipeline so won't commit at the mo. Will pm you if I do decide to come along and maybe we could meet up ? I don't know anyone that will be there.
