Tribute to KB, inspired by Hitchers thread about 3 years and KB similar to HC

A Kb parody of Hotel California.

On a fast broadband highway, cool beer in my hand
Warm smell of KFC, rising up through the air
Up ahead on the search page, I saw a shimmering link
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I should have to stopped for the night.

    My girl stood in the doorway;
    I heard those midnight bells,
And I was thinking to myself,
’this could be heaven or this could be hell’
Then she turned out the lights and she left me that way
There were voices down the cable wires,
I thought I heard them say...

    Welcome to the Website Kiwibiker
    Such a lovely place
    Such a lovely space
Plenty of bling at the Website Kiwibiker
Any time of year, you can find it here

My mind is definitly twisted, I sold my mercedes benz
I got a lot of pretty, pretty bikes, that I call friends
How they scream up the highway, into the sunset.
Some ride to remember, some ride to forget

So I called up the moderator,
    ’I have lost my mind’
He said, ’I haven’t had the use of mine since nineteen sixty nine’
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
    Just to hear them say...

    Welcome to the Website Kiwibiker
    Such a lovely place
    Such a lovely space
They talkin’ it up at the Website Kiwibiker
Just dont be surprised, if you loose your mind.

    Poll's on the homepage,
The green bling is on ice
It's said ’we are all just prisoners here, of our own device’
    And in the senior’s forum,
    They gathered for the feast
The stab it with their verbal Jibes,
But they just can’t kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
    Reaching for the Cord.
I had to find the button back
To the place I was before
    ’relax,’ said the night mod,
    We are programmed to receive.
You can logout any time you like,
    But you cant never leave!

    You get an Excellence!

Very good! Had "Hotel California" running in the background of my mindspace when I was examining the eloquence of your extended metaphorical devices.

Nice use of assonance and rhythmic timing! The repetition of the refrains makes for a nice personification of the things we do behind our screens.

    Brava, brava Mav!
