It looks like 19,400km is as much as you can get from an EK 520 chain and JT sprocket set.
In the interests of science, I did try for more, but that's it.
Ready to put on a DR Big now...

Looks like too many teeth for a Big
Finally!
After nearly a year, the bastards have got my site working again!
Everything that was uploaded to it is gone however
Busy uploading again...
Today also bought to you by the number 705...
30min from loosening the axle nut to tightening it back up again. Definitely a PB
is it just me or does that photo hurt your eyes too and what's with the black lines?
....wherezz that track go
Felt pen.
Retro fitting time!
It appears to be bleeding.
And that's the one going back in to the bike...
40,000km engine out...
That only took an hour. Sweet, bodes well for the installation...
120,000km engine in...
Ahh...
I was running the FCR39 pumper carb.
The intake manifold side is a couple of mm bigger in diameter than the stock BST40.
The old engine rubber manifold has hardened over the last few years...
Not a hope in hell of it fitting. Not a hope in hell of swapping the manifolds either.
Not to worry, I also bought the old DynoJet needled, worked BST from the old setup.
Oops, the vacuum port broke when the engine fell over on it in the back of the van last night...
Bluetac to the rescue!
Oops, no carb breather with filter either...
Some chux cloth and a zip tie should do that in the meantime...
A nice blood transfusion and lets see what happens!
Oops, that is a hell of a clattery noise...
Shouldn't really do that...
Crack the top oil banjo and press the button, yay! Oil!
Ok, it seems the clattering was the starter motor catching up with and hitting the gears on each piston stroke as it tried to fire.
It lives!
