And the bike is now 400g heavier than last time it was weighed

Lighter tyres and a carbon seatpost make quite a difference.
I do like my dropper and grippy front tyre though.

3 loaded Triumph Tigers went past in town today. All 3 riders were wearing flip-flops, shorts and singlets.
Made me shiver even though it was 34°.

    Oh dear
I may have killed the battery in the FransAlp...

I forgot to disconnect it when we went on holiday

    From the bike.

I think the Honda security system drained it over the month...

I think the voltage regulator may be faulty

Serviced the forks on the Giant Anthem tonight.
Very easy to pop the lowers off and replace the foam rings and seals.
There's wear on the front right of the right stanchion. No debris in the fork leg and the bush looks ok. The wear is definitely from the bush though.
New seals and 160ml of 10w in the damper bath, 30ml in the air bath and 5ml of FFFF (Fake Fox Float Fluid) in the air spring side.

There was maybe 50ml or more of nice green 10w oil in the air upper instead of 5ml of 85w.
That may have been acting like a couple of tokens and helping the ramp-up as I could never get past about 60%.
Lots of white gunge instead of oil in the damper side.

Now to do some more research and see if it really was meant to be 160ml in the damper bath...

Also a Wolftooth GoatLink and One Industries extended cage just because they were lying around.

I've also got a 42t sprocket if this one isn't low enough

Didn't even need to hide the driving lights!
    Easiest WoF I've ever had.
