The Kona Unit would be the Mt Greenland beastie.

The TT is sulking with carb o-rings that have dissolved into goo.
Pro Tip: Use fuel safe o-rings kids

    Nope. Going for something different.
After 11 years and 176,000km, it's time for a change.
The wiring loom needs replacing (lots of bare copper showing with all those k's and years of vibes) and more work to really get it going properly.

Looking at more road biased, but still gravelable.
    Cheap is important

Most likely going to part out all the DR bits.
2 sets of forks, 2 sets of wheels, modded Corbin seat, IMS tank, FCR39 carb, 2 engines (1 needs the cam chain guides replacing), brand new chain, sprockets and front tyre (dammit. died hours after I replaced them) etc, etc...

The Kiwi on the front guard will be transferred to the new bike with a small ceremony.

Emulators and springs in the front, something in the rear and something done to the mapping.
Bars are up and forward, but otherwise standard.
Took it for a test ride up the Maungatapu to the head of the dam (as you do) and it went very well.
Standing climbing was annoying because of the tank, but standing descending was fine.
The centre stand digs big gouges when gravity asserts itself after jumping the water bars climbing up from the dam
Rocks, wet clay, gorse, no issues. It actually suits my nana riding style better than the DR.
The DR does however protest less over the jumps
It's really well balanced, changing direction in the gravel was no problem, quite stable seated or standing.

Can't wait for the road tyres to wear out so I can get some Shinko 705's on it.
It actually came with a set of Shinko 805's spare. Which I'll never use.
Oh, and the screen is very Padmei-esq in that the wind hits me in the middle of my visor and blurs my vision.
