Just got my attention brought back to this thread. For some obscure reason, Mr Imdying (speaking of children) red repped me, with some snarky comments, right out of the blue for starting this thread. Perhaps my use of language, anyway such is life.
But yes they did their pennance and it was all eventually smoothed over. We were a bit of a family at war for a time there. Geo has now left school, she is quite a different girl now. She has gained (on her own merit) an apprenticship as an avionics engineer (they fix all the navigation instruments and radios in aeroplanes). She has a new boyfriend who is a pilot and is also well on her way to becoming a commercial pilot herself. I'm starting to breathe a sigh of relief.
