    Howzit? (Citroenjunkie)

I have been riding motorbikes since I was 6, some 31 years now. Had a break, got divorced, poor, free, stable and hooked up, now back biking again. I bought a GB250 which has been great for the past 2 years, but is now starting to be hopelessly too slow, needing serious pedal stirring to get up steep hills while chasing GSX 650 and Ducati mounted mates. I am hoping to buy a bigger bike this weekend. Hope the shit Auckland weather goes away for long enough...fat chance.

If you see a little fat guy flogging the hell out of a GB250 somewhere south of Auckland it'll be me

Welcome back to biking (wish I'd come back a few years earlier).............shame about the Citroen thing!!.......
Actually I have to admit to having owned one or two myself in the past. I think I sold my last one to a museum! How sad is that?

    Got a new Ride

Gidday all, thanks for the welcome.

The weather was perfect for buying a bike, and I did. Thanks to the great guys at Mt Eden Motorcycles, I rode in on a 250 and roared home on a CB 400SF. The guys at Mt Eden Mt cycles were awesome, helpful and even took my old bike as a trade in (sorry!). It has been quite some time since I have ridden something approaching really quick and I love it. Not quite the V65 Guzzi I had planned, but looking on the web, the Honda has more horsepower than the Guzzi anyway! It is so good to have a newer bike too, by 15 years. It felt like getting out of a pedal car and into a limo. Anyway more later...
