It's always handy to have a man with nice big thighs around when you need him,eh girls.Personnel managment - the right person for the right job....
Bugger - I had to miss the Classic Trial at Te Pahu a couple of weeks ago,I was looking forward to 'riding the pipeline' again. It's one of the toughest trials on our calender and the Hamilton club always put on a bloody good day, next year for sure.

Bugger, just read this on the VMX site...

North vs South
EVENT POSTPONED
Due to current and forecast weather, the organizers have opted not to run the North vs South event this weekend to prevent excess damage to the property.
The Inaugural North vs South Classic Race Meeting will now be held in October (date to be advised).

Well I went out yesterday for a trail ride on the XR with my bro (2004 KDX200) and the renthals are brilliant, wide but brilliant
Chopped up a UFO rear guard to fit and it cleans up the back end a bit.
New IRC on the back and now the back end follows me and dosn't just go off tiki-touring on it's own![]()
49t sprocket on the back just isn't big enough.
I don't really need a 120kph top end...
A hole-saw down the silencer did wonders for the acoustics
Some alloy hand-guards went on today but it was raining too heavily to test them out.
Next step is the clutch plates and springs.
Then forks stripped and rebuilt and shocks drilled/drained/valved and re-oiled.
...and it may get cleaned sometime.
Oh and I fell off it but it didn't really count.
