After a head on collision with each other on SH25 near Whangamata on Saturday, loosebruce and dss3 have lost their lives.

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of these two well known Kiwi Biker riders.

Rest in Peace Bruce and Daryl. May you both ride with Bruce Bennett in that great endless Coro Loop in the sky. This is just tragic news to hear this morning after arriving home from a great weekend at the Auckland Ulysses Rally. My sincerest condolences to their family and friends.

Ah, this is terrible news. Our thoughts are with their families and friends. And our prayers are that no-one else 'goes' too soon.
Please ride safe over the coming season.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Heard this yesterday, didn't want to believe it. RIP Bruce and Darryl. My thoughts are with their friends and family and the riders with them yesterday. Stay strong people.

Got a rear disc for my bike off Bruce last week, and while I don't think I had the good luck to meet him, we exchanged PM's on many occassions sharing a joke etc. Thanks mate, you'll always be in my thoughts.

    Fraser.
