Id also like to thank the family for allowing us to convoy today, it was a fitting farewell. The roar of the bikes was really something. Props to Quasi for managing to organise us all!

The ride back through the Hunuas was a great reminder of why I love riding so much. A few bikes, some nice twisties and a fantastic community.

I was in Hamilton today for work.

Was waiting at the end of London St, to turn onto Victoria, when I spied a gaggle of bikers heading south... as they passed, I saw a couple or three KB patches.

I caught up with them at the next lights, and pulled up along. Drooled over a few bikes and thought about saying something. However, the entire pack were all fixed on the red light, no jocularity, no banter being swapped, just a team of friends waiting in a sullen mood to arrive for a farewell.

If any of you saw me in my van with "Recall" on the side perving at your bike, sorry if you felt it move, that was just me throwing condolences on your pillion spot to drop off to the family for me...

    Cheers.

Was great to see old faces and some new ones today contributing to the loving memory of Daryl. I think the number of bikes was around 83.
It's been a rough day. I got up this morning, put on a shirt and a button fell off.
As I ran out the door, I picked up my briefcase, and the handle came off.
Now I'm afraid to go to the bathroom.

Thanks again for picking my wallet up after i left my pocket unzipped after the stop at Meremere ........Also great to meet Glen (Saul) in person after many posts on the TL sites

I guess the grieving is far from over for those near and dear to Daryl so wish them strength...I think for many a time for reflection.
Was a privilege to have been able to attend... Cheer's to all.

like everyone else who attended yesterday, I was honoured to be part of the procession and to be there to celebrate Darryl's life. Its a day I will always remember.
Thank you to the family for inviting us and welcoming us.
