    They started working on my bike today. Waiting for the part from Japan - hopefully that arrives next week. The earliest possible would be friday week.

    Good to hear! I well understand your need for two wheels of freedom ... as for the part ... I finally got my little replacement knob and screw for my trip meter. Only took 6 weeks for it to arrive! Happy Birthday anyhows and let's hope the early present is a ridable bike!
