    CUNTING DHL TRUCKS

yeesh, okay. i was standin at victoria street/nelson street traffic lights (infront of empire tavern) when a DHL truck comes by, two wheels on the curb, smashes into the traffic light, owns it, tears half the electrics of the fucker and almost kills me, then i have to dodge traffic light shrapnel/dhl logos/broken bits of coloured glass... FUCKEN ARSEHOLE! he doesnt even stop to see what happened! He took off in a hurry but im sure he got an earfull of abuse! Okay, so i drop my two bottles of coke and my bicycle and go to collect the pieces of traffic light crap/glass/lamps off the road so the good people watching dont need to drive over sharp things.... FUCKEN! well, i didnt get hit by anything, guess i better thank my mildly abusive older brother for the improved reflexes...

FUCKEN DHL BOLLOCKS! sadly, the cunt got away before i could get the plate number....

    Fucken

    rant over

yeah, there was two old dudes and a couple of guys across the street. Im sure someone got it. But they all seemed pre-occupied with weather or not i was hurt. Guess tactical awareness comes in handy...

Phone DHL and make a complaint, the driver will have to put an insurance claim in at some stage. If they refuse to follow it up then contact the police and Auckland City Council as they will have to follow up what amounts to a "hit and run"

Good luck. City Council will want reimbursement of traffic lights anyway - and DHL probably have the GPS installed - keeps track of where their drivers are so they don't slack off!! Driver not too bright me thinks!!

err, i gave them the time, the place and the type of truck

i know DHL have package tracking so they can definetly hunt the arse down...

He's probably not the sharpest tool in the shed! So he takes off, hopes that everything will be all right and that he won't be caught. Yet as above; he's probably got GPS in his truck. Not to mention that taking out a traffic light is going to inflict quite some damage on his truck, which I'm sure he's going to have/try to explain to his boss!!! Glad to hear you're ok!!! Very thoughtful of you picking all the glass off the road right away!!! Hope he gets done!!!

do you think you could ask the dude to take out all the traffic lights between Fanshawe St and the Southern Motorway to save me a few minutes on the way home?

    dude...

anyway, i got a response from DHL (quick fuckers when it has to do with the popo)

    "Dear Denis

Thank you for your email via the DHL webpage. DHL has 4 different business units operating trucks in Auckland. At this stage I have spoken to the Operations managers who are making enquiries regarding your report. Please be assured that your report will be forwarded to the appropriate person for a response.

    Regards

    Shirley Bray

    PA to Managing Director"

Umm, okay, lets think about this... I almost got run over by a large arse tractor trailer unit and could've been splatted/cut the fuck up by falling traffic light shit... and im talking to a personal a-fucking-ssistant?

someone tell me im being naive...
