Awesome day at the track all round with plenty of KB company.
No spills that I'm aware of...we left at 4pm and some were staying for a bonus 10mins track time before closing.

The only negative aspect of the day was all the crazy cages - 3 groups of them. So the bikes only got 1 session every hour.

Most stunning bike of the day (and there were heaps to choose from) was the Burgandy '04 R1. Pic attached.

Good on you for coming along to watch/support the KB team Mr Quasi. Thanks for the times too, I've never been timed before...if I had known I probably wouldn't have pulled as many wheelies at the exiting of the hairpin.

I mostly enjoyed "following" Drunken Monkey and dicing it a bit with the speedster KK. What frustrated me the most on the track was being passed on the back straight by the 1000cc machines as though I was standing still!

All good fun - highly recommended to any capable rider. It will help your skills immensly!

What a wicked day! got about 10 pics but it takes me about a month to use a 24 roll so the pics will come later... Ahhh i totally loved it! best time around pukekohe came down a touch more, and had heaps of fun on my bald street tyres... i loaned the bike to a mate (hes 6 months into biking, and never ridden bigger then 250) and shit did he do well! He did complain however about the back tyre - totally shot, and lost the back end in a power slide coming onto the front straight (minor, but still!) and went onto the grass, thanks to his quick thinking/reactions after sliding around on the grass he managed to keep her upright and ride back onto the track - he also commented on the rear tyre sliding out exiting the hairpin - i reckon its bloody good valuble experience!... anyways without blabbing on too much i reckon a new set of tyres on the racebike someday will solve my biggest problem of not being able to power out of castrol early enough, the backend just slides and gets the bike out of shape on cracked, hard and bald tyres Good to have some little battles with you Zed - and most Fluffy Cat - Bruno on the RWB NSR250, shit that was FUN!
