    My first 3D model...

    actualy i tell a lie, its my second, first was set of carburators..
    im proud, used to tutorials, and managed to get mesh's in-game,

    i know u guys prolly dnt give a funk, but thought i might show some ppl
    *note this is my second attempt at using this program, its very complex*

    i did the turbo/exhuast manifold/wastegate/ intake manifold/intercooler and piping

    i didnt do engine...

    I just did a contract working round some animators and got a bit more of an appreciation for what this 3d modelling stuff is all about. Looks farking hard, truth be told.

    So, what did you use? Maya?

    3ds max 5 with plugins, and zmodler to inport / export

    yeh i been playing/downloading mods for like 3 years for this game
    finaly i now get to make parts:P. only used program 2 days

    Nice work guys, i'm a mech/ structural drafty and don't get to do many models as cool as that. But nice very nice I'm using AutoCAD 2006 at mo waiting for upgrade for new year.

    ok finished main turbocharging setup

    now for fine details/....
    braided oil feed line to turbo, with return to sump
    blow off valve
    vaccum gauges
    fuel pressure regulator and gauge
    and um..............yea watever else i can think of
