I'm not sure I read that right...
Did you say 1988 CBR that has only done 3000kms???
Granny barely ran it in did she? Only rode it once a year for 18 years (and then only on Sundays).
I'm sure I've made a mistake...
Keep it rubber-side down...
You are joking? Under 3000?, what have you been doing to her?

an '88 with 3,000kms on? is that right?
got a new toy lined up then?
That does look pretty mint tho! If it has done only 3000ks, then it'd still be on original rubber - how stale are they gonna be!
it is in mint condition for a CBR250, but its an '88 250cc, its not worth $5000!!!!

well done genius...it is actually a toy
whoever said it has to be used for commuting u dumbass![]()
its not so hard to believe...it was a collectors item in japan
if anyone has any reasonable offers give me a shout
Not a nice bugger today are you? Its very very very rare to come across an 88 bike with 3000km. Noone said it has to be a commuter, but it does mean she has sat around doing alot of FA for a whileOriginally Posted by zooty

nah mate its all good..just that every time i mention it ppl cant believe it.
and there r too many skeptics. Just look at some hot rods...some from the 1950's clock lilke 5000kms. All im saying is that it may be an 88 but sometimes newer is not always better..take a 1965 ford mustang (no matter what condition) compared to a 2005 bmw-theres just no comparison.
A 65 trumpy would fetch $5000 or more. Still its what someone is prepared to pay and how long one has to sell that decides the final offer.
