yeah if you want speed you really gotta get a tuned 250 like a zxr cbr rr or nsr . probably not far off what you payed for your bike so look into getting one if you dont get your full for awhile. in the meantime i reckon that 180=kg of weight is your biggest setback, so try stripping weight off it. replace your paper airfilter with some foam. good luck bra
I lost my licence and i havent riddin all month!!!- YEAH RIGHT

For anyone reading in the future...

I have a GSX250, its VERY similar to a GS500E same brakes, similar suspension very similar frame.... anyone with a mig welder and too much time on their hands could find a Gs500 motor and a shoehorn....

The 250 motor even has spacers to make it fit in that big frame...

GSX250, or GSXR250? I mean GSXR250 is what it says in your profile.

GSX250! the gsxr is the lump of crap rotting in my carport. I ride a GSX250 now, People on here bag them for being heavy but in real world (ie potholes and bad camber etc..) riding im sure the GSX is at least as quick!

Save your pennys for the next bike. To lose weight leave it by the coast and watch the frame rust away.
