    KX 80 Ignition advance

Ive got a kx 80 ignition for a bucket. What I am after is the advance angle that it should be set at BTDC.

i have been told that the ignition is set at 0.44mm BTDC on the KX80. This makes it about 10 degress BTDC.

Does anybody no if this is correct? I need to confirm this so I can calculate the setup for my MB100 motor. Have already chernobyled a couple of pistons so need to sort this out.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Won't help much anyway. If you aren't running a KX head & KX Pipe in a KX sized bore. Any change here will change where it needs to be.

Retard it & keep advancing it till the power falls off a bit. Maybe the advance curve is particularly unfriendly.
Don't you look at my accountant.
