Battery check results after checking with a test meter

Hi as you know I wanted to check if my battery was charging now I have put a 12 volt 55/60 watt xenon Bulb in my GN well here are the results after checking with a test meter

Voltage across the battery without the engine running =12.2 volts

Voltage across the battery with the engine running at tick over =14.5 volts @ 1100 rpm

Same as above with 60 watt headlight on at tick over 13.4 volts @1100 rpm

Then with headlight on @4000 rpm = 14.7 volts

Than at the same rpm 4000 turning the headlight off the voltage jumps to 15.3 volts

Is this ok is the battery charging like I said I have no idea with this electric stuff

    Thanks for any help

That sounds sweet, it will definitely be charging. The only thing I'd call into question is how the voltage jumps when you switch off the headlight. It shouldn't stay that high, at 15.3V... does it hang around there, or just jump to that level and come back down? Of course I may be wrong and it's OK for it to be that high, but it does seem a little on the high side.
