Weather is really shitty in Albany at the moment as well (pissing down) and is supposed to stay this way till Thursday/ Fridayish...

For northern and central North Island, down to Waitomo in the west and Hawkes Bay in the east, also the central plateau Outbreaks of rain. Some heavy falls developing.

Im drying my gear out from the sudden 10 minute torrenchal rain I got caught in on Pine Valley Rd just out of Whangarparoa on Sunday arvo at about 3pm....
That was a heavy downpour like a mini flood across the roads..... saw a few riders in Silverstream stop on the side of the road waiting it out...
I was brave and rode throu it all... water washing across the road at a fair pace too.




So whoever rides tonight.... please take care and ride safe.
