Kiwi TT Double! in all Suzuki finish

Shaun Harris took his second Isle of Man TT win with success in the Production 1000cc race over three laps of the 37.73-mile mountain course on Monday.

Harris led from start to finish but was challenged in the early stages by fellow New Zealand rider Bruce Anstey before a quick pit stop at the end of the second lap handed Harris the advantage.

Harris went on to win by 16 seconds from Anstey, Harris admitted: "I was very, very confident going into this race. The team has worked hard to get the machine working well and they've achieved it."

Anstey's runner-up place was comfortable after the 113-mile battle,
finishing 15 seconds ahead of third-placed Ryan Farquhar.

Production 1000 TT Result (three laps 113.19 miles): 1 Shaun Harris, New Zealand (Suzuki) 55m 39.38s, 2 Bruce Anstey, New Zealand (Suzuki) +16.03s, 3 Ryan Farquhar, GB (Suzuki) +31.12s, 4 Richard Britton, GB (Suzuki) +41.49s, 5 Chris Heath, GB (Suzuki) +1m 13.46s, 6 Jason Griffiths, GB (Yamaha) +1m 28.27s,
