Hey there dudes and dudess's
I had to put pen to paper, to thank the guys for organising this wonderful weekend I have literally, just arrived back from.
It was wicked to catch up with the old faces, (sensible, Scum Dog, Rashika, Dangerous, IDB, Bruce) guys you continue to be my ultimate biker mates, I think you are all the best.
Bernard, Joshua (safe trip oversea's mate), Bill, Jen, Liz, Tim, Jimmy, Chris, and all the rest of you magnifico boys and girls, fab to get to know you, and I am looking forward to seeing you guys again. Roll on Glenorchy, Hokitika and the vincent eh guys.
The ride from Dunedin to Lawrence on the Saturday was as wet as it could get (thank god for Dri Biker gear!!), then the weather got better as we made our way to Alex where we met up with the rest of the crew.
From then on in, the weather just got better and better. Then we met up with more Dudes and Dudess's at Otemata, had a few beers and back to the site.
The sheep sheering quarters were fab, comfy.
The night was the best fun, with lots of cherry spitting, (btw, bruce who won that competition)
Had far too many beers again that night (no surprise there,!) but forgot to bring Guns and Roses, Sweet Child of Mine, so no boinging up and down for me (ow!!!)
Dont even recall what time the lights went out!!
The next day unfolded with ab fab sunshine, as we embarked on the Mount Cook run, (thanx IDB for the backie mateypoos), I would probably still be travelling there had I had ridden!! Mount Cook, continues to be the most majestical place on earth, and me being an imported Pom, am always in wonderous awe at the mystical and magical place, and the colour of the Lake and canal continues to take my breath away. The sun shone like mad for us and it was just the perfect day.
The ride home was the longest ever, but the rain held off just
25 of us got together for this one, and lets have some more of these mad weekends, as it was an absolute blast.
Thanks again, and catch up with everyone real soon,
Merry Christmas and Hugs to all you KB's that went to Mount Cook
