A quick heads-up for anyone thinking of popping along to this weekend’s racing at Teretonga: Spectator information seems to be non-existent online, or on the TV adverts. After harassing our own K14 by PM, I resorted to calling one of the organisers today who was pretty helpful. Anyway, I thought I’d share…

This info is pretty approximate from what I gather, so I wouldn’t count on it being 100% accurate – but it should be OK as a rough-guide.

Saturday will be predominantly practice, with a handful of races at approximately 2pm. These classes racing are 125s, F3, and Spirit of Southland (The locals)

Sun – will be the main race day – races start at around 10am.

Entry should be around the $10 mark.

Jim Tuckerman, who I spoke to on the phone, reiterated the high calibre of riders who’ll be racing this weekend, so it sounds well worth a road-trip into the deep south piloting the mighty Suzuki triple (see my other thread for a laugh re that…)
