    Cool Bye, bye Auckland

    Bye, bye Auckland.

    Hello Queenstown
Well as a few of you know i've been thinking about moving down to the South Island for a working holiday as they're screaming out for chippies down there at the moment.
Well decision made i've been offered work and accomadation in Queenstown for three months, so i'm buying me a (second hand) snow board and heading off tommorro!
I'm taking the cage down through necessity (sp?) ie tools etc, and leaving my bike with KK
Until i get sorted and get it transported down or get back.
    Cheers KK your a legend.
I'll miss riding with the Auckland (and surrounding) KB'ers what a great group you are
But it'll be summer when i get back, and i'll hopefully have saved enough to look like a toothpaste tube by then

Any KB'ers down Queenstown way feel free to pm me for a beer or something as i'll be Billy no mates when i get there.
    Seeya
    Chris

I lived/worked there for 5 months a few years back...

Fun in a drinking dancing feeling awful in the morning kinda way... I didn't enjoy the high cost of living though!

Have fun! (you would have to be dead not to)

    Cheers

    Cheers guys

Started packing now and really lookin forward to the trip down, excitements kicking in!
Gonna take a slow drive down so might come to Manfield to watch the racing.
Anyone give me an idea of how long it takes from the ferry (Nelson is it?) to Queenstown?

Hey Chris, good luck mate with your new job. Sorry to see you go - I've enjoyed our rides together and won't forget how you helped out when I had my bin. Look forward to riding with you again when you get back (unless I can justify a Sth Island tour before then - haven't been skiing for ages...)
    Cheers (and keep in touch)
