I was stuck in a two-hour teleconference from 10am to noon today. I didn't have anything to say for the first 110 minutes. I used the time to develop some very elaborate lunch fantasies. At one point they involved a hot oil massage, fried chicken and strawberry crepes.

Then I escaped and everyone was going round the corner for kebabs, so, you know. I was pretty hungry by then.

I wonder what actually goes into rotisserie 'lamb'?

Well lunch yesterday was a bust - and not the good jiggly kind! I ended up having a couple of pies, a filled roll, cream doh!nut, and a custard square. I was left feeling unsatisfied and moorish for the afternoon.
Today I resolved FTW I'm going to have something decent for lunch. Having decided that, all I needed was 'what'. So I get an email from my mate at the reserve bank... "Are you hungry?" Methinks that sounds like an invite and says "Aw yeah" (nonchalantly) "What's the haps?"

So I got invited to a luncheon for coaches (he was coaching Wellington Maori) - Mmmm yummy free food. Got to have a yarn to some people who I look up to in coaching terms, had gooood food, and it never cost me a cent - even got picked up from work and dropped off again.

    Lunch is good.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
