    Bloody Boring Holidays

School broke a wee while ago and I'm bored out off my wits. I even cleaned my rooms with out being prompted. So right now I'm for things to do until I go back to school and breeze through 6th form. I'm thinking teaching myself guitar, anyone else got any other suggestions... or books on how to learn guitar????

Go to a bookstore (i'd suggest whitcoulls but only because i know the stock range) and there are heaps of 'teach yourself' books. Have a look in the lifestyle section and you'll find heaps. There is a 'guitar bible' among other things... if you're over 16 they have kama sutra and all that too You could learn italian, french, spanish... maori?

If you're looking to progress into racing then 'twist of the wrist' is a good book to get your feet wet with.

There are loads of books on Photoshop, Database, Webdesign, digital photography, programming, the list goes on... just go and check it out.

Otherwise, assuming you are 15 or older (going into 6th form so you must be) why dont you get off your ass and find a job? That way you can save up for a bigger prettier fasterer sports bike for 7th form!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

So find another one. Go swing a hammer for a builder somewhere... they could do with the help and I'll promise you the skills you pick up will serve you well later in life.

    Cool

Learning to play the guitar - There are books at your local library on "How to learn to play the Guitar"

Right so you have cleaned up your room.... well done... I am impressed as will your mum be as well.

So go and mow the lawns....... wash the cars, wash down the house from xmas, wash all the house windows (inside and outside), wash your bike, clean up the garage, put your dirty washing out and wash it (including your smelly socks).

Thats a start...... Im sure we could all come up with some more jobs for you to do.....
